How To Clean And Maintain A Medium Efficiency Panel Air Filter For Industrial Use
Proper maintenance and cleaning of the Medium Efficiency Panel Air Filter must follow standardized procedures to ensure filtration performance and extend service life.
Before cleaning, turn off the power supply of relevant equipment. After the system pressure is fully released, remove the filter's fixing devices and take out the filter media. Prioritize using compressed air for blowing-spray from the air outlet to the air inlet of the filter media at a pressure of 0.3-0.5MPa to remove surface dust. If the filter media is heavily soiled, rinse it with clean water (water temperature not exceeding 40℃) and avoid direct impact with high-pressure water flow.
After cleaning, air-dry the filter media naturally until its moisture content is below 5%. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or high-temperature drying. Check for damage, deformation of the filter media and integrity of the sealing gasket after drying; replace immediately if any damage is found.
The maintenance cycle should be adjusted based on usage scenarios. For general industrial environments, cleaning once every 1-3 months is recommended; shorten to 15-30 days for high dust concentration areas. Record cleaning time, pressure difference changes and other data after each maintenance. Replace the entire filter media when the pressure difference reaches 1.5 times the initial value or after 3-4 cleanings to prevent reduced filtration efficiency from affecting equipment operation.
During maintenance, avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent damage to the filter media. Ensure proper sealing during installation to avoid air leakage, which helps maintain the stable performance of the Medium Efficiency Panel Air Filter.
