How To Clean And Maintain Pocket Air Filters

Pocket Air Filters are important for maintaining air quality. Cleaning and maintenance can make them work better.
When cleaning, do a preliminary inspection first. See how dirty the appearance is, and check whether the connecting pipes are firm and damaged. This can ensure that the cleaning is carried out safely. If the appearance is not too dirty, use compressed air or a hair dryer to quickly remove the surface dust. If it is very dirty, wash it with water. Put the Pocket Air Filter in the sink, soak and rinse it with a diluted detergent solution, and rinse it with clean water during the process. After washing, take it out and drain it, and lay it flat on the rack to dry. Turn it over more often to dry faster. If there are oil or glue stains, wipe it with a rag dipped in detergent, and then rinse it with drinking water.
Maintenance is also necessary. Check the seals, such as the O-ring, and replace them if they are deformed, scratched or broken. The filter bag should be replaced about every 3 months. When changing, let the filter bag ring match the metal inner mesh collar, and tighten the cap bolts evenly. If there is a filter, rinse it with a vacuum cleaner or water. Also check and clean the air duct regularly to ensure it is unobstructed. Use an air quality detector to test the filtering effect. If it is not good, check or replace the filter bag. In addition, avoid using too large a pressure difference, otherwise it will affect the filtering and may damage the equipment.
When cleaning and maintaining, separate it from the pipeline, close the inlet and outlet valves, and operate it when there is no pressure. Do not open the cover when there is pressure. The Pocket Air Filter should be installed after inspection to prevent dust from entering. Doing so can make the filter run efficiently and last longer.
